Ronald Franklin and Elizabeth Bull are both award-winning artists whose works have been exhibited in venues throughout the world.

Ronald Franklin is a master ceramic artist whose work has appeared in museums and fine galleries throughout the world, and is part of the Permanent Collection of the World Ceramic Center in Korea. He has practiced and refined Raku art for over thirty years and is among those potters who have pushed it well beyond traditional Japanese roots. Since earning a degree in English from UNC Chapel Hill, Ron’s work in ceramics has taken him to many places: the famed Penland School of Crafts, the Oregon College of Arts and Crafts, and a stint with noted ceramic artist, Don Reitz at the University of Wisconsin, to name a few. His work has appeared in museums throughout the country and he has exhibited regularly at the GreenHill Center for North Carolina Art in Greensboro, NC, as well as Lee Hansley Gallery in Raleigh, NC. He was among a select group of North Carolina Potters to be featured in “From These Hands”, a show of potters’ portraits as well as their works at North Carolina State Craft Gallery. Critically acclaimed, his work is valued by collectors and acknowledged by art critics for its elegance, purity of form and immaculate craftsmanship.
